Hallo alle,

Ich habe ein problem mit ein Dachlucke im Badezimmer.

Nach demontage von diese Dachlucke habe ich ein grosses Riss entdeckt und wolte ihnen nicht wieder gebrauchen weil er wasser durchlasst. Aber ein neuen koente ich nicht finden weil unsere ein Schnittmass hatte von 55 x 55 cm.

Wie hatt ein aenung wo ich ein bekommen kann ??

The plastic part of this roofwindow have a crack.
Whit fibreglass isn't the right material to repair it.
Also some holes for the screws are broken too.

I hope a member change his old one for a new -better- part.
But 7 may is comming soon and than we go to Stadskanaal and I hope that all things are repaird. A few to go.

Hi Henk,

you have to check from which materiel the frame is made. If it not PE/PP you normally can glue it. Either a specail glue for the plastic, or you can also use Epoxi resin provided as "Epoxi-Knete" eg. Pattex Repair Express, etc. If in doubt you can also reinforce the area with this, or in an other wise. Then build it carefullly in your car with a butyl-sealant. At last put an additional seal with butyl-sealant over the area with the crack. I think this will last a long time.

I have found an good one with proper holes for thr screws.

The sealing i used was from SIKAFLEX , the black one..

After the rain this afternoon, every thing is keeping dry.
Up to the next repair.
